The concept of consolidated cargo means that the transportation itself is carried out together with other cargoes within one vehicle. When a consolidated cargo is transported by sea, the consolidated container is formed at the consolidation warehouse nearest to the sender. After delivery to the port of destination, the cargo is unloaded at the customs warehouse, after which it is delivered to the final consignee, as a rule, also as part of a prefabricated container, but already by road transport.
